Alkın Compressors, a pioneer of high pressure breathing air compressors, was established in 1990, and having improved its capabilities on high, medium and low pressure air & gas compressors, and containment fill stations, which are its principal business activity, now serves its valued clients with a wide range of products for scuba diving, fire department, military & naval units, shipyards & maritime sectors. Alkın Compressors, serving our clients throughout our extensive service networks, from our 16500m2 facility in Izmir-Turkey, has exports to more than 70 countries. It has 55 distributors and 125 dealers globally. In June 2012, Alkın Compressors has been acquired by Aydın Trafo San. Ve Tic. A.Ş, a leader in the reciprocating and screw compressor sector since 1978.
Being the only manufacturer in Turkey for high pressure compressors, Alkın Compressors has been supplying to military ship manufactures, for such as MİLGEM projects, with high pressure clean air compressors, starting air compressors, service and control air compressors in accordance with military standards. To name some projects: W32 breathing air compressors supplied for completed YTKB and SGSB projects, managed by Dearsan Shipyard; 700 model starting air compressors supplied for ongoing HMB project; W32 breathing air compressors supplied for ongoing LST project, managed by Anadolu Shipyard.
Being the first & only manufacturer in Turkey for high pressure breathing air compressors, Alkın Compressors meets the needs & requirements of military units for high pressure compressors and produces solutions for them with its Türk Loydu Type Approved compressors, in accordance with EN 12021, CGA E & D Grades and ISO 9001. The latest example to our solutions is the “design and manufacture water cooled high pressure compressor” that is currently under R&D, and planned to be used in ships and submarines next year. The project’s criteria have been determined accordingly, as the compressor are to be used in submarines and to supply blast tanks with a certain capacity of air at certain pressure. Alkın Compressors is aimed at developing a new and an economical, compact, low noise level design compressors to meet military needs & requirements for shock and vibration tests.
Alkın Compressors has been extending its product range by adding a new product each year, thanks to its specialist staff precisely identifying clients’ needs and R&D endeavors. In addition to its R&D, Alkın Compressors not only assembles turnkey pressure systems and, but also offers solutions, by using air conditioning devices such as air dryers and filters, to aerate electronic circuits, rocket systems and many oil free and dry air needed pneumatic systems.
Alkın Compressors, the biggest supplier of Turkish Armed Forces for high pressure compressors, can supply products in accordance with the military ship norms & rules of the prominent classifications societies (BV, DNV, NK, RINA, ABS, LR etc.) Exports are also shaped so.
Alkın Compressors not only offers high pressure clean air compressor options, such as portable, silent, diesel and petrol drive options, ranging from 100L/min to 650L/min, up to 415 bars, but also manufactures Nitrogen compressors. W32 and W3 model compressors can generate up to 1100L/min and 350 bars, depending on needs. 700 and 702 models, generating the starting air for diesel engines up to 40 bars, are another product group.
