On behalf of the Sedef Shipyard the Member of the Board Mr. Orkun Kalkavan and Defence Industry Projects Director Mr. Osman N.Yurtsever, on behalf of Aselsan the Vice Chairman of the Board Mr. Murat Üçüncü and General Manager Mr. Faik Eken and on behalf of Havelsan Chairman of the Board Mr. Yüksel Öztekin and Former General Manager  signed the contract.
Sedef Shipyard will build a Landing Platform Dock for the Naval Forces Command. Through the LPD Project, the Naval Forces Command will have a vessel that is capable of deploying a force at the minimum size of a troop to a crisis region with its own logistical support and without requiring the support of a main base in the Aegean, Mediterranean and Black Sea.
Within the framework of the contract on the supply and integration of the combat-electronic systems to be installed on the LPD signed between Aselsan and Havelsan Business Partnership, Aselsan’s business share is €127 million and Havelsan’s business share is €87 million 
As part of the Project, Aselsan will be in charge of the design, development, production, supply, platform integration, test-trial and integrated logistic support activities concerning the Communication and Satellite Systems, IFF Systems, 12.7 mm STAMP and 25 mm STOP Weapon Systems, Acoustic and Sonar Systems, Radar Systems, Electronic Warfare Systems, Infrared Detection and Tracking Systems, Laser Warning Systems, Electro-Optical Director and Navigation Systems that will be installed on the Landing Platform Dock, Mechanized Landing Craft, Vehicle/Personnel Landing Vehicles.
Within the scope of the project Havelsan will conduct the design, development, production/supply, test-trial and integrated logistic activities regarding the Network Enabled Combat Management System (ADVENT) that enables the combat capacity in a multi-threat environment through its main task functions, Vessel Data Distribution Systems, CCTV System, Message Operation System, Link-11/16/22 tactical communication systems and indigenous Amphibious Task Force Operation Center that could be installed on the vessel and the Command Control and Information System of the Landing Force Operation Center.
