Asess Elektronik, producing indigenous products in the subject of environmental conditions test cabins in its factory which has initiated under challenging conditions and getting established after a long process in Eceabat, is progressing rapidly in the path of becoming a “Brand” by producing indigenous products with its own equity.
Asess Elektronik providing conditioning systems conditions in the world and space, and services in this subject in a wide spectrum from space, aviation, automotive, white goods to drug industry in various sectors started its activities in the year 2009. Continuing with its production in a closed area of 4000m2 and open air area of 8000m2 in Çanakkale Eceabat, and R&D activities in Çanakkale Onsekiz Mart University Technology Development Region, Sarıcaeli Campus, has become specialized in the topic of the production of environment conditions test cabins which are needed especially by today’s laboratories with its young computer, mechatronic, machine and cold conditioning systems’ engineers staff.
Company General Manager İsmail Öztürk, saying that as a firm they have seen that the environment conditions test cabins are not made in Turkey and that there is a dependency abroad, they have turned their aim to the development and production of such devices, saidİ “We entered in this business believing that we need to do something urgently in order for this resource to stay in Turkey. We have presented our new projects to our ministry in Çanakkale Onsekiz Mart University Technopark. We are making our projects mutually with our Çanakkale Onsekiz Mart University.” Öztürk saying that their firm is investing in the R&D field and that all their staff is working for this objective with devotion said “We will be realizing the delivery of the first “Domestic Climatic Test Cabins” having similar characteristics abroad but not produced at all in Turkey which are oriented to R&D and the performance of comprehensive tests in the defense industry in a very short period of time. Moreover, we also determined our next target with the application experiences we have had. It is to be able to produce the conditioning test cabins that can provide the environment conditions in space and on earth, (-85 °C / + 220 °C) Heat, ( 10-7 mbar / 10-9 mbar ) Vacuum and (%98 Rh / % 0 Rh) Humidity conditions with our own potentials, but we need financial support in this matter.”
İsmail Öztürk: “We are planning to establish the first independent laboratory of Turkey”
Stating that they are planning to establish the first independent laboratory of Turkey again in Eceabat next to their production sites, Öztürk said, “Our target having a priority with the first independent laboratory of Turkey is to decrease the dependency of Turkey to abroad, we are wishing to decrease the exchange outflow from Turkey. One of the other important problems of Turkey is being experienced today in the certification and approval services in the electronic/electric household devices, white goods sector. As of the reason that there aren’t independent accredited test laboratories in this subject, approval and certification tests are currently performed abroad. I think that we will be decreasing our dependency abroad when this site starts its activity. I want our country to benefit.
Asess Elektronik realizing the installation of various devices, not only domestically but also abroad, has exported within the framework of the needs of the Pakistan Air Force to this country in the year 2011. Mentioning that there are various needs domestically and abroad Öztürk said; “There is a need for -75°C and +190° C and 10-7 mbar vacuum cabin requested under the scope of the JF 17 Fighter Aircraft development project of Pakistan Air Force Command and for the airplane factory established in our country and for -40 C shooting tests of our national infantry rifle. We are evaluating that there will be a benefit from the scientific aspect for our country with the production of these devices that will be used in the R&D activities of our country in the future and especially in the defense industry, aviation industry, space industry and materials science.”

Environment conditions test cabins are the devices required mostly in today’s laboratories.
The devices used with R&D objectives provide the environment conditions under the required standards which are to be applied by many sectors like defense and aviation, automotive industry, white goods, electronics. The cabins are designed in line with their standards and the needs of their users.
Vacuum test and varying heat cabins.
Systems with heat control provide environments in the -80°C and +200° C interval.
In case demanded, humidity control at the 10 % and 98 % RH interval is added to the system.
The dimensions and the heat, humidity values of the devices are produced after designing in accordance to the users demand.
In line with the special demands of the customers sprinkler, sun light effect, wind sand storm application can be applied to the systems.
The characteristics of the dust, sand, and raining cabins which are among the test cabins needed by the defense and automotive industries; provide the MIL standards requirements with the SAE J575 and CE I EN 60529 standards.
Photo voltage test cabins which will provide acceleration to the R&D studies that are oriented for the applications consisting of the alternative energy resources related to the sun are designed to provide for the needs of the universities and private sector operating in this field. We can provide for many international standards with the cabins we shall produce. These cabins have an important place in the quality control studies showing the product and device durability in the new product and product development activities.
