Commander of NATO’s Land Command at IDEF’15

On 5th May 2015, the Commander of NATO’s Land Command, Lieutenant General John Nicholson attended the 12th International Defense Industry Fair (IDEF) which was held under the auspices and support of Turkey’s Ministry of National Defense by the Turkish Armed Forces Foundation (TAFF) in Istanbul.

IDEF is the biggest defense industry fair in the Eurasian Region and one of the top four defense industry fairs in the world with an increasing trend in terms of the number of participating countries, delegations and companies. 

Lieutenant General John Nicholson, LANDCOM Commander, was one of the distinguished guests at this year’s IDEF.  Following the inaugural ceremony, he engaged with journalists and later walked around the Fair with Major General Uğur Tarçın, Land Command’s Chief of Staff, which enabled him to engage with high representatives from defence industry and leaders of the Turkish Armed Forces.
