DELTA ELECTRONICS: Positive contribution to the Realization of Turkish Defence Systems

In the Coverage of modernization of AN/APG-68 (V) 7 Fire Control Radars into AN/APG-68 (V) 9 of Turkish Air Force (TuAF’s) F-16 Block 50 Aircrafts; Blok 40 under decision stage DELTA Elektronik Ticaret ve Sanayi Ltd. Sti played an important role in:

• Introducing radar to TuAF and inclusion in the modernization program

• Finalizing the contract negotiations between Northrop Grumman and TuAF

• As stated in Technical Assistance Agreement and Contract, played a bridge-function between TuAF and Northrop Grumman

• In parallel with the modernization decision, carrying out development activities for AN/APG-68 (V) 9 at the depot level repair/maintenance capabilities established under Havelsan responsibility.

In augmentation and development at strategic partnership relations between Aselsan and Rockwell Collins on Multi Functional Displays (MFD) which are commonly used in various defense projects such as Seahawk I, II, Meltem I and II , C-130 Erciyes program; DELTA Elektronik Ticaret ve Ltd. Sti contributed to:

• The production of MFD-268 E3, CDU-900 equipments at Aselsan premises

• The realization of the agreement between Rockwell Collins and Aselsan for co-production of new version MFD-268 C5 displays.

In the scope of C-130 Aircrafts Modernization program of TuAF DELTA Elektronik Ticaret ve Sanayi Ltd. Sti carried out:

• Promoting, introducing activities of the Northrop Grumman product AN/APN-241 to TuAF and finalize its selection for the program. With Delta’s contribution, procurement contract has been reached.

• Marketing efforts for Rockwell Collins avionic equipments to be included in the project thus contributing to the user’s been equipped with the state of the art, effective and modern systems.

HELIMOD II MODERNIZATION:

In coverage of Avionic and Communication Systems Modernization of UH-1 and AS-532 helicopters in Turkish Land Force (TLF) inventory DELTA Ticaret ve Sanayi Ltd. sti:

• Introduced Rockwell Collins avionic and communication systems to Turkish Armed Force (TAF) and Aselsan

• By making it possible the products of Rockwell Collins be included in the project, she carried the work into production maturity between Rockwell Collins and Aselsan

• Actively played important intermediary role in timely deliveries of the system and execution of miscellaneous activities in accordance with contract.
