Tekno Kaucuk has all capabilities providing to demand of customers with advanced production area and full-fledged Shock and Vibration Test Center, which has been producing anti vibration mount for automotive, defence industry and white goods industry since 1959.
One of the most important properties of Tekno Kaucuk that differentiates it from its competitors is its co-designer capacity and capabilities in its main products. Tekno Kaucuk will next to its customer with not only with its products, but also with its expert engineers that has deep knowledge about the products’ applications areas and conditions.
Project management requires not only application of the right idea to the real life but also right documentation and the most important is to complete all of these processes in the agreed period of time. We are in a position that we can not only complete material tests but also all of the product validation tests with the facilities created through the recent year investments i.e. chemical analyses laboratory that belong to compound group, process analysis and observatory compound laboratory and the first and only shock test center in Turkey that is created for product validation, as well as environmental test and metrology laboratory.
The first step is take an approval from accredited test center and laboratory for have a voice in international platforms. In spite of a lot of environmental test capabilities in our country, there is a deficiency about test center for demand of defence industry. This deficiency is big handicap for domestic manufacturers which want to exporting equipment and material to abroad. Besides the cost of doing test in abroad, transportation costs and duration of process creates a big problem for companies. In addition to, it can be unsafety for defence industry, which sending critical equipment to abroad for testing.
Tekno Kaucuk is only domestic company in the industry as shock and vibration dampers in Turkey. The most important environmental factor is shock and vibration effect for equipment used in vehicles. Therefore shock and vibration testing covers an important part of the approval and acceptance procedure. This situation shows to us the importance of a testing center can be made of shock and vibration once more.
In our shock and vibration testing center, we can provide all requirements of all type of tests with especially Medium Weight Shock Testing Machine (MWSTM), Electro Mechanical Shaker and Three Axis Life Cycle Testing Machine, Linear and Torsional Dynamic Testing Machine, Environmental Test Chamber, Coordinate Measuring Machine and Laser Scanner
In three axes, static and dynamic stiffness of elastomeric parts can be obtained and life tests can be made by the hydraulic test machine, characterisation of rotational parts can be tested by the torsional test machine and electromechanical shaker is used for high frequency dynamic tests. All characterization tests of elastomeric parts are made so that their actual behaviour in a virtual environment simulation programs can be measured by these test machines.
After the completion of the installation Shock and Vibration Test Center, tests has been carried out with success for leading provider of defence industry which is according to MIL STD 810G, MIL STD 167 and MIL-S-901 D standards. Shock and Vibration in order to ensure the reliability of all of the tests and the final report made in test center, ISO 17025 Standard is made within the scope of accreditation applications. Accreditation process of work scheduled to be completed early in the second half of 2015.
Shock and Vibration test, depending on type of equipment, can be a very difficult and long process. To make a right corrections and intervene to equipment is very important if the equipment is partially or completely fail. In case of this type of testing done abroad make situation worse and difficult. These tests create a more healthy and rapid dialogue between customer and test authority, if it can be done locally. Repeated revisions and testing of equipment approval process completed quickly which is failed.
Owing to these developing facilities, almost all the shock and vibration tests have become possible to make domestically and it has been resolved a lack of important terms of the contractor and manufacturer of R & D activities for Turkish Automotive and Defence Industry. National projects has become a validation possibility and our voice has been strengthened in the international arena.
