Enmares is  filling an important gap in defense, aviation and marine industry, considering the projects requiring custom system design and in-house manufacturing. Enmaresis working like “short-term additional departments” for its customers. Its customers just define the mission and leave the rest of the project implementation to Enmares. This model especially fits best for interdisciplinary projects like naval helicopter platforms, in which shipyards have to fulfill aviation requirements, which are completely out of their area of specialization.
Enmares designs and manufactures helicopter transfer and towing vehicles, steel or aluminum electromechanical aircraft maintenance platform systems, miscellaneous aircraft maintenance and ground support equipment, personnel safety netting systems for naval helicopter platforms, manufacturing fixtures etc. Not limited to these systems, It carries out many other complete military subsystem design and manufacturing projects. Enmares is the main helicopter system and understructure subcontractor of almost all ongoing military and governmental vessel projects in Turkey. It involves the project in design stages of the vessel under consideration and work together with the design team of its customers. It undertakes whole technical responsibility for that platform to be able serve for helicopter takeoff, landing, accommodation and other applicable operations like VERTREP.
“We are Turkey industrial partner of 180-year-old L3-CALZONI Company, which designs and manufactures “Helicopter Visual Landing Aid Systems” as well as many specialized defense systems. We are the only HVLAS provider who gives an intensive technical support to shipyards during whole project, thanks to its powerful engineering team” Mr. Ender Uçkun, General Manager of Enmares said.
Currently, Enmares is helicopter systems main subcontractor of many ongoing projects like Logistics Support Vessels (LDG), Submarine Rescue Mother Ship (MOSHIP), Rescue and Towing Vessels (KURYED), Seismic Research Vessel (TURKUAZ), Directorate of Coastal Safety Emergency and Rescue Vessel (NENE HATUN). In addition, It design, manufacture and supply project-based helicopter equipment for other platforms like Pakistan Navy Fleet Tanker and Tank Landing Vessels. It was also the main helicopter platform equipment subcontractor of Turkish Coast Guard S/R Vessels built by RMK Marine Shipyard and has successfully delivered all packages for four vessels in this project.
Enmares Aviation and Defence Engineering Company (Enmares) was established to provide customized engineering solutions for civil aviation and aircraft maintenance industries in 2007. It grew rapidly over 8 years from then on and completed more than 40 genuine projects so far with its   management and design team office in Istanbul   and   its manufacturing facility lying on 2000 m² where welding, assembling, paint and delivery of its products are performed in Gebze Kocaeli .
Enmares is  product and capability exporting company since 2010 and has a contact office in Toulouse (France) with a French business development team. It has many reputable clients from Europe and Gulf region. Its growth in overseas markets, which reached seven countries as of the first quarter of 2015, is progressing increasingly. The most important advantage for its exporting activities is its universal scope, which creates a promising potential to sell its products to almost any aviation and marine markets in the world. Accordingly its engineering capabilities have been noted by large-scale groups like AIRBUS and its main sub-suppliers. It has completed the first block shipment to AIRBUS A320 aircraft manufacturing line. It has cooperated with Latecoere Services Group from France, one of the main project subcontractors of AIRBUS, in this project.
