First Flight School Graduates Of TAI

The graduation ceremony forthe “First Term Special Helicopter Pilot Training Course” at the TAI Flight School that started its activities on 23 August 2010 with the vision of “Meeting the needs of military / police and civilian helicopter pilot training of our country and regional nations according to international standards,” took place at TAI facilities on 3 December 2010.

 

Within the framework of the “Pilot Training Agreement” signed between the General Directorate of Security and TAI on 29 July 2010, the TAI Flight School commenced its activities with six pilot candidates that earned the right to become pilots and in a special ceremony that saw the elation and pride of the first graduates in the pinning of their badges, the Governor of Ankara, the General Director of Security, Mr. Oğuz Kağan Köksal, the Director of the Aviation Department of the General Directorate of Security, Mr. Hüseyin Başak as well as officials from the General Directorate of Security, the National Education Directorate of the County of Çankaya, members of TAI’s Board of Directors and Audit and TAI managers also participated.

 

TAI Flight School experienced flight trainers and its civil aviation expert staff in compliance with the standards of the SHGM and JAA/EASA international certification authorities is active under the umbrella of TAI -Turkish Aerospace Inc.
