Havelsan Delivers the AW 139 Simulator to Qatari Air Forces

Following the completion of the production process, Havelsan launched the deliveries of the Qatari AW 139 Simulator Center that is planned to fulfill the training requirements of the Qatari Air Forces’ helicopter pilots.
Within the scope of the Qatar AW 139 Simulator Training Center Project initiated in May 2013, Havelsan is in charge of manufacturing 1 Full Task Simulator, 1 Flight and Navigation Procedures Trainer, Cabin Crew Training Simulator, Debriefing System and Tactical Control Center for the Qatar Emiri Air Forces. The operating and trainer pilot services for the Training Center soon to be established will also be conducted by Havelsan Training Centers. Moreover, local subcontractors that Havelsan collaborates with at its business eco-system will assume roles as part of the Project.
Havelsan’s Export to Qatar
 The Tactical Control Center (TCC), the tests of which were successfully completed, has started its journey on June 8, 2015 according to the project schedule and in order to be exported as the very first product within the framework of the project. The product will be utilized in the joint training of the Qatar Emiri Air Force pilots with the Land and Naval Forces in the tactical field. In addition, it will be integrated with the remaining simulator systems that will be procured by the Qatar Emiri Air Force Command in the future.

 The role playing consoles provided with the Tactical Control Center (TCC) product in addition to the products manufactured as part of the Project will be able to conduct joint flights within the scope of the same scenario with the Full Task Simulators and Flight - Navigation Procedures Trainer. Besides, 25 other air and land platforms with complete artificial intelligence software will be able to take part in the trainings as friend or foe forces as part of the same scenario.
 The second delivery planned as of June 2015 will be accomplished with the Flight Navigation Procedures Trainer and Cabin Crew Trainer and tests of these two systems are currently at the stage of completion. The test flight and Project Revision Meeting of the Full Task Simulator that was developed as part of this Project and the integration activities of which are ongoing were successfully accomplished with the participation of the Havelsan the Simulation Training and Test Systems Project personnel.
