HAVELSAN Integrated the Submarine Data Distribution System into TCG Preveze

Within the scope of the Preveze-Class National Production Integrated Combat Management System MÜREN-PREVEZE Project Contract, HAVELSAN has completed the installation, assembly, port, and sea tests of the Submarine Data Distribution System (DBDS-P) and delivered it in full to TCG Preveze in the inventory of the Turkish Naval Forces, the first ship of the project.

Thanks to the redundant and uninterrupted data flow of DBDS-P, which plays an essential role in integrating the Submarine Combat Management System, it will be possible for the PREVEZE-class submarines to perform their operational tasks most effectively.

The DBDS is a unique product, almost the "heart" of the submarine, designed to receive data from different sensors and systems uninterrupted, make a backup and distribute it to the relevant units for submarines to perform all operational missions efficiently. 

The Platform Data Distribution System, which is an excellent example of the programmatic approach of the Turkish Navy to defence projects, has been preferred for 47 platforms and delivered for 36 of them so far. The system continues to be one of the most significant indicators of trust in HAVELSAN with its very low failure and high activity rate.
