Nurol Machinery and Industry Co. Inc. was established in Ankara in 1976, and it was reconfigured in 1991 in order to serve in the process of domestic production of defense systems and equipments for TAF (Turkish Armed Forces). Besides the projects that it successfully completed in the 1. IZ (Industrial Zone) in Ankara, it continues design, development and production works in new defense projects.
Design, development, procurement and production works are supported by improved technologies, resources and equipments.
By using its infrastructure, equipments and resources with technical features conforming to the specified standards, and via its qualified labor force and its experiences in defense projects, Nurol Machinery has performed the following projects at home and abroad, and successfully delivered them to its customers.
Nurol Machinery and Industry Co. Inc. possesses the following certificates, which are required by agreements in Defense projects and certified by relevant institutions; TS-EN-ISO-9001: 2000,AQAP-2110 ,Plant Security Certificate at the level of “National Secret” given by the Ministry of National Defense, Certificate of Production Permit given by Republic of Turkey Defense Industry National Security Agency
TACTICAL WHEELED ARMORED VEHICLES: In Design and Development studies of Tactical Wheeled Armored Vehicles; Nurol Machinery has an experience since 1994 and it delivered 5 6x6 Tactical Wheeled Armored Vehicles to Turkish Land Forces Command in 1998. Nurol Machinery has submitted requested information within the scope of Request for Information (RFI) which is distributed by Undersecretariat of Defense Industry to domestic companies with regard to 336 Tactical Wheeled Reconnaissance Vehicles and 1075 Tactical Wheeled Weapon Carrier Vehicles Project.
ARMORED VEHICLES SUB– SYSTEMS: Nurol, being a sub–supplier of FNSS, has manufactured additional boltable armor protection systems, marksman and commander cupolas and NBC systems for many Armored Combat Vehicles manufactured by FNSS and has successfully delivered those equipment.
MILITARY SHELTERS: Military shelters that conform to the requirements of 6516/SHCPE/86 NATO Shelter Technical Specifications Document have been designed and manufactured. All conformity and performance tests prescribed by the standards of NATO and ACE type shelters have been successfully completed. A special production line has been constructed for manufacture of shelters. Engineering and production services such as manufacturing and internal and external equipping of shelters and integration of them on vehicles or trailers etc. have been given in accordance with the types and specifications set forth in relevant standards.
25 MM DRAGER CANNON/TOWER SYSTEM: According to demand of TAF, Nurol has manufactured many Drager Cannon / Tower Systems equipped with 25 mm cannon and 7.62 mm MG–3 Machine Guns under the license of French origin GIAT Industries Company. Following the acceptance tests applied in Nurol Machinery facilities, these systems are mounted on Armored Combat Vehicles manufactured by FNSS and has been delivered to Turkish Land Forces Command.
TOMA–VEHICLE OF INTERVENE IN SOCIAL EVENTS: Nurol Machinery has rendered its success in designing, developing and manufacturing of special purpose Vehicle of Intervene in Social Events (TOMA) well equipped with the state of art. So far it has manufactured many vehicles for domestic and foreign country orders and successfully delivered those vehicles. Primary users to which Nurol Machinery has delivered TOMA vehicles are Turkish General Command of Gendarmerie, Commonwealth of Independent States and some African countries.
MOBILE SURGICAL HOSPITAL PROJECT: Nurol Machinery has submitted its bid for the Mobile Surgical Hospital with 30 beds and Mobile First Aid Station with 20 beds tender of the Undersecretariat Defense Industry and result of the tender is looked forward. Moreover it carries on its studies regarding bid which it will submit for another Mobile Surgical Hospital tender in abroad.
