I would like to greet all readers of Defence Turkey, exhibitors and visitors in IWA 2007 fair.. The issue was prepared for IWA 2007 as special magazine.

The Turkish weapons industry has progressed sufficiently to compete with its European rivals. The thirty-one Turkish companies attending the 33rd Nuremberg International Trade Fair for Hunting and Sporting Arms and Accessories, one of the biggest trade organization in the sector, received a great deal of notice at the fair. The fair is the most important organization after Shot Show held in USA. The competition Italy and Turkish is important as it increases quality and contributes to the growth of Turkish shotguns sector.

I n the last years, Turkey earned from foreign sales in this sector exceeds 400 million USD. The developments in the shotgun sector are not sufficient but some shotguns companies can use their potential as efficient in the USA. As for handguns, they are not sufficient for competition into foreign market. Because The Turkish handgun is known in foreign market gradually. Some handguns from Turkish Companies are sold military personnel in Turkish Army and civilian personnel. The handgun selling can be able to do by way of MKEK. in according to Turkish laws. Therefore, All selling is under the control of MKEK.

I want to call Turkey Walnut Stock attention to use on the shotguns. I guess that you know Turkish walnut stock very well. The Turkish walnut similar to the best camera in the world. You can see some illustration of animals living in the forest.

As results, the purpose of Defence Turkey on that issue is present Turkish companies relating to shotgun, handgun, and walnut stock. We claim that Defence Turkey magazine will be bridge between foreign market and domestic market.
