KACST, DST and Aselsan Signed MoU
King Abdulaziz City for Science and Technology (KACST) and TAQNIA Defence and Security Technologies (DST), a subsidiary of Saudi development and Investment Company signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Aselsan, a Turkish Armed Forces Foundation company.
Under the MoU, KACST, DST and Aselsan will further increase cooperation, in coordination with government agencies and other organizations.
The MoU was signed by His Highness, Prince Dr. Turki Bin Saud Bin Mohammad Al Saud, President of KACST, Dr. Hamad Alyousefi, CEO of TAQNIA DST and Mr. Oğuz Şener, Aselsan Vice President in the presence of Turkish Ambassador to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Mr. Yunus Demirer and a number of high ranking officials from both sides.
His Highness, Prince Dr. Turki Bin Saud Bin Mohammad Al Saud commented, on signing this MoU, that this MoU is a start of an important strategic partnership that will have a positive impact on technology and innovation capabilities in the Kingdom.
Mr. Oğuz Şener, Aselsan Vice President commented by his turn, that the cooperation defined in this MoU will contribute to the Kingdom’s defense and security.
