NANObiz is a technology company, established in September 2006, and located at ODTU Teknokent Ankara, Turkey. NANObiz currently has 15 fulltime R&D staff and academic consultants. NANObiz is an ISO 9001:2008 certified company.
The vision of NANObiz is to be a globally recognized technology and product developer in the field of homeland security and biological detection especially to develop portable and fieldable hybrid biodetection and early warning systems.

Biothreat Agents Detection and Early Warning System – BADNEWS
BADNEWS is a biothreat agent detection system that can be either field deployable or portable. The system detects biological agent(s) and transfers the information to the main server. Depending on the needs, further e-mail, SMS and/or voice notifications are generated and distributed to related parties.
Water Monitoring & Early Warning System – WEWS
WEWS is an autonomous sampling and water quality monitoring system. Once it is deployed, WEWS continuously monitors (7/24) physical and chemical parameters like chlorine, temperature, turbidity, conductivity, pH, etc. WEWS can also test water samples at pre-determined intervals for the presence of biological agents like Escherichia coli, Salmonella spp., etc.
