As we have introduced ourself as “A Solution Provider in Defence Industry” in IDEF 2011, we are now more capable and more experienced in that sense.
Since IDEF 2011, now let us summarize what we have been doing;
Infrastructure
AGS has set up a new facility for manufacturing and integration activities in an industrialized part of the capital city. The aim of setting up that facility was to have larger indoor and outdoor area for AGS’s present and future activities. The extended indoor and outdoor area has tripled current area to 2000m2. Holding “Facility Security Clearance Certificate” and “NATO Clearance Certificate”, that new facility also has offices for the new hired engineers and technicians.
Thanks to this new facility AGS has a larger depot to stock more raw materials, a larger manufacturing area to increase manufacturing capacity and a new integration area to be able to install a crane for integration activities of military vehicles and shelters.
Moreover, AGS has improved its mechanical and electronic card design, software and firmware development infrastructures;
New CAD design software running on workstations with two monitors to make more capable mechanical designs.
New EDA software package to design printed circuit boards,
New integrated development environment to develop console, firmware, embedded software and graphic user interface applications.
Engineering Team
For past two years AGS has increased the employee number up to 50 with experienced and new graduated engineers. With the help of new comers AGS has formed its engineering organizational structure. This structure includes;
System/Unit Design Group, responsible for tracking customer technical requirements, creating new requirements if needed and creating design description documents according to requirements.
Hardware Design Group, responsible for designing electronic cards according to requirements came from System/Unit Design Group
Software Design Group, responsible for designing firmware and software according to requirements came from System/Unit Design Group
Mechanical Design Group, responsible for designing all the mechanical parts according to requirements came from System/Unit Design Group
Cable Harness Design Group, responsible for designing cable harnesses between units and inner cabling of the unit.
Test Engineering Group, responsible for conducting all the test activities and documentation.
Experience Gained on Design and Production
AGS has experienced on Design and Production of following products;
Power Distribution Units with its peripherals such as Remote Control Units, Remote Power Controllers and Manual Control Units. These units are smart with a powerful microcontroller that can be easily customized and controlled remotely by an operator.
Power Supplies, DC/DC and AC/DC (With 3 phase and single phase input) with smart controller and adjustable output voltage limit. These units can be controlled with any Ethernet, CAN and Serial communication interfaces.
Battery Charge Units with smart controller and adjustable output current limit.
Cable Reels with motorized and manual winding systems.
Electronics Cabinet Subsystem is a smart cabinet system which includes power distribution unit, power and signal input panels and control panel. Subsystem has own closed circuit water or air exchanged cooling system, 30U rack mounts with all in one drawer system and highly durable shock and vibration dampers. It was designed for use in military ships under deck.
Dual Generator Set, which is comply with all the military conditions. In the set, there are two generators each has 30kW power capacity and one Automatic Control and Transfer Box.
Mobile Turret Testing Vehicle is a kind of semitrailer consists of a power generator, levelling mechanism, crane and toolboxes. The objective of the semitrailer is loading a turret on it and then moves the turret to test facility to make tests.
