Our company was established in 1960 in Malatya, Turkiye by Mr. Ziya Gürel under the name of Gurel Hunting Market and started to do business as a distributor of MKEK (Government owned Turkish Machinery and Chemical Industry Institution) and many European quality proven brands in the hunting and shooting sector. The first branch office was opened in 1975 in Istanbul, Turkiye; and export-import, wholesale activities started in full swing. The second one was established in 1987 in Ankara, Turkiye. Since then Gurel Hunting Market has been serving to all around Turkiye.
In 2006, additionally to Gurel Hunting Market, Gurel Hunting Cartridges Industry and Trade Co. was established in Çankırı, Turkiye in order to produce hunting, shooting and blank cartridges. Gurel Hunting Market carries out domestic sales in Turkiye, while Gurel Hunting Cartridges and Trade Co. is responsible for overseas sales. Our manufacturing facility which occupies an area of 450.000 square meters comprises 13 seperate buildings and 5.000 square meters indoor area. Since 2007, the products have been manufactured in Şabanözü, Çankırı under the brand name of ZUBER by state of the art technology and best quality raw materials. Therefore we have succeeded in reducing our foreign dependence 60 percentage within 8 years. Day by day, we have been lowering this percentage by increasing our own production.
Our high technology loading equipments with the most modern computerized ballistic control system always ensure the production of the highest quality ammunition. During the manufacturing process, cartridges are regularly tested throughout the day for speed, pressure and general performance in our shooting range.
