Participants Engaged by Havelsan’s Success Story at the “Agile Turkey Summit” Event

The Agile Turkey Summit, enabling an environment for cooperation on solutions regarding the “Agile Software Development” methodologies, discussions on the contemporary issues and presenting success stories was held on 5-11 October 2015 in Istanbul. 

Havelsan Software Development Automation Unit Chief System Engineer Dr. Eray Tüzün attended the event as a speaker.  The summit consisted of seminars, training sessions and speeches given by both national and internationally proficient speakers and trainers.

With his presentation titled “Transformation of the Integrated Software Development Environment in Havelsan”, Tüzün shared the adaptation of the Application Life Cycle Management processes into a large scaled institutional environment, as Havelsan’s success story, with the participants.

Turkey’s greatest system and integration company Havelsan’s Software Development Environment (SDE) transformation launched in 2012 aims to increase the efficiency of the software development environment while decreasing the infrastructural costs. 

One of the Award Winning Projects of 2014

 “Software Development Environment (SDE)” was awarded by the Ministry of Science, Industry and Technology with the “Jury’s Special Award” within the scope of the Efficiency Project Awards of year 2014.The same year, with its projects including the SDE project, Havelsan registered its title in IT field at the “Stevie International Business Awards” which is considered as one of the most respected business awards and in which the best practices in various areas are selected. “Havelsan Information Systems Group Management” won the silver award in the “Best IT Department of the Year”.
