Piening Propeller: Reliable Partner in Naval Industry

Turkey with its Coast Guard and Navy became a big partner in export business of PIENING PROPELLER; with its repowering project of Coast Guard boats and a huge series of different Navy New Buildings.

One of the last successful deliveries was the propulsion system for Germany´s new deep-sea research vessel “SONNE”, being built at Meyerwerft and operating absolutely silent for making investigations in different areas.

Piening is processing with new developments for its controllable pitch propeller system (PCP); which is operated by water hydraulic, to avoid any kind of oil pollution.

Often complete stern gears with propellers and struts will be delivered, but sometimes the scope of supply includes the propeller only, or realization of adjustments during the converting process, which also is part of Piening’s activities and will be done with engagement and care same as new designs or new manufacture.

In addition to the hydrodynamic optimization of propellers and design of the shafting’s,

PIENING PROPELLER supplies shipbuilding components such as brackets and hence all components making a system solution.

With its own engineers, in house foundry and own manufacturing, Piening Propeller still supplies equipment with the quality label “Made in Germany”, fulfilling highest requirements within the yachting or naval industry.

Beside the admittance of several classification societies, Piening Propeller is ISO 9001-2008 certified by DNV-GL.
