Rf-Seeker Missile Capability Added to HİSAR O+ System

The critical field tests aimed at adding RF Seeker capability to the HİSAR O+ Air Defense Missile System have been successfully completed. HİSAR Family was developed by ASELSAN and ROKETSAN and initiated by the Defence Industry Agency (SSB) to meet Türkiye's layered air defense needs with domestic resources.

In the two firing test activities conducted with the participation of SSB and Turkish Armed Forces representatives, high-speed targets at close range and low altitude, as well as at long range and high altitude, were successfully destroyed.

President of Defence Industry Agency Haluk GÖRGÜN made the following remarks in his assessment of the project: "Türkiye's national air defense missile system HİSAR O+, successfully destroyed targets at both close and long ranges with its new RF Seeker Missile. With the HİSAR O+ System providing a layered air and missile defense capability, we are elevating the tactical capability and firepower of our security forces to the highest level, pushing our boundaries, and fielding our highly effective products in air defense one by one. I thank ROKETSAN, ASELSAN, and all the subcontractor firms that contributed to the project."
