STM and Bahçeşehir University to Develop Sensor and Combat Systems

A cooperation protocol on the Development and Marketing of Sensor and Combat Systems between STM and Bahçeşehir University was signed.

An agreement on the “Development and Marketing of Sensor and Combat Systems” was reached between STM, which accomplished many achievements by gaining critical technologies requiring expertise to Turkey, and Bahçeşehir University. 

The Protocol was signed by the General Manager Mr. Davut Yılmaz and Vice General Manager Mr. Ömer Korkut on behalf of STM while Bahçeşehir University was represented by the Vice Rector Prof. Ali Güngör and R&D and Innovation Projects Unit Coordinator Mr. Selçuk Özyurt.

STM General Manager Mr. Davut Yılmaz mentioned that within the scope of the protocol, they aimed to offer innovative products with advanced technology in Sensor and Combat Systems area to domestic and international markets and added, “Considering advanced technology products that require comprehensive R&D studies, academic cooperation is of vital importance. With this protocol signed with Bahçeşehir University, we, as STM, aim to lead the sector through developing joint and indigenous solutions in accordance with the cooperation to be built by the industry and the academy. As a result of these studies and efforts, we plan to develop technologies and products providing added value to Turkey and which will be favored in international markets”.
