Tekno Kauçuk has Opened Shock and Vibration Test Center

Tekno Kauçuk since 1959 is a rubber company serves mainly anti-vibration, home appliances and Defence industry products has opened its Shock and Vibration Test Center in the current year.

Tekno Kauçuk has the top level facilities to design, simulation and validation for R&D activities has also added three-axis hydraulic test machine, electromechanical shaker, torsional test equipment and medium-weight shock test machine to their  equipments like that laser scanner, enviromental test chamber and salt spray cabinet and it has offered fully fledged Shock and Vibration Test Center.

Static and dynamic stiffness of elastomeric parts can be obtained in three axes and durability tests can be made  by the hydraulic test machine, characterisation of rotational parts can be performed by the torsional test machine and electromechanical shaker is used for high frequency dynamic tests. All characterization tests of elastomeric parts are made so that their actual behaviour in a virtual environment simulation programs can be measured by these test machines.

Within the project of Shock and Vibration Test Center, MIL-STD-810G, MIL-STD-167 and MIL-S-901D specifications that Defence industry needs will be tested by own laboratory. In this project there are electro-mechanical shaker and drop shock test machine to test shock and vibration with regulations of MIL-STD-810G and MIL-STD-167, also there are light-weight and medium-weight shock test machine to test for regulation of MIL-S-901D.

With the opening of this test center it has become possible to make nearly all shock and vibration tests of Defence industry in Turkey , also an important deficiency for R&D activities of Turkish Automotive and Defence Industry companies and sub  producers was resolved, so  it is possible to validate national projects and our ability has reinforced in the international area.
