Tolun Small Diameter Bomb Successfully Tested Against Multiple Targets

The Tolun Small Diameter Bomb, developed by Aselsan with national capabilities, successfully hit its targets with pinpoint accuracy in a quadruple firing test conducted simultaneously for the first time in Türkiye.

Under the contract signed between the Secretariat of Defence Industires and Aselsan, a quadruple firing test of the Tolun Small Diameter Bomb was conducted from the SADAK-4T Smart Bomb Rack. During the test, four Tolun Small Diameter Bombs were fired from an F-16 aircraft, taking off from the 401st Test Squadron in Eskişehir to targets at the Karapınar Test Range.

Four different targets at 30 kilometers away were hit from an altitude of 35,000 feet with complete accuracy. With the SADAK-4T Smart Bomb Rack and Tolun Small Diameter Bomb, which can simultaneously attack eight different targets in a single sortie, Türkiye successfully executed the quadruple firing test for the first time.
