YALTES has been established as a Joint Venture Enterprise between Yalcın Group (60% share) and Thales Nederland B.V. (40% share) on 29 November 2002.

The company’s core business is primarily the development, manufacturing and integration/installation of electronic and data processing systems generally for Military and particularly for NAVAL applications.

The company has the capability to develop, manufacture and maintain state-of-the art-products, spanning the complete system life-cycle, in the following application domains:

• Naval Command and Control Systems software development

• Hardware manufacturing to support C2 Systems

• Fire Control and Communication Systems installation & integration

• Maritime Navigation and Information Systems (ECDIS/WECDIS)

• Integrated Platform Management Systems

• Shipboard and shore system integration

MAJOR CONTRACTS

• Turkish Navy’s Perry Class Frigates Modernization Program (GENESIS) as a subcontractor to HAVELSAN, YALTES share is to design and manufacture Operator Consoles, Data Network, Video Network, Subsystem Interface Units, Subsystem Adaptor Units of the Combat Management System of the ships and installation and integration of the system.

• IMSS: YALTES participates to Turkish Navy Maritime Surveillance System (IMSS) program, started on 1st February, 2004, as a subcontractor of Thales Nederland B.V. YALTES is responsible for certain software applications development for Data Fusion Center, Data Fusion Center hardware, consoles, network and integration and installation of the systems.

• MOC PRODUCTION : YALTES is the sole manufacturer of Thales Netherlands’ Multi Operator Consoles for Naval Command and Control Systems. Multifunctional Operator Consoles for all Naval Command and Control Systems delivered by Thales has been manufactured by YALTES in Turkey.

• SW DEVELOPMENT FOR TNL: Yaltes develops sofware applications for Thales Netherlands

Command and Control System TACTICOS and its middleware SIGMA/SPLICE.

• MILGEM Integrated Platform Management System (EPKIS) :

YALTES signed the contract with STM on 27 February 2007, for Integrated Platform Management System for the prototype ship of MILGEM program.
