Organized by Amphenol Türkiye & Middle East, the third edition of Amphenol Tech Days 2026 event officially kicked off today with the participation of 26 personnel from factories across 15 countries. During the two-day technology event, dedicated solutions and capabilities in the fields of Military Platforms & Systems, Avionics, Space, Missile Systems, Unmanned Systems, C6ISR, and Military & Commercial Aviation will be introduced to users through technical presentations. In addition to these presentations, attendees will also have the opportunity to hold bilateral meetings with manufacturers throughout the event regarding products developed and produced in line with user requirements.
In his opening speech, Amphenol Türkiye & Middle East Manager Hakan Saraçoğlu stated that this is the third time the event is being organized and emphasized that the format is revised every year in line with user expectations. He noted that this year, morning and afternoon sessions will be swapped on the second day to reach a wider audience. Saraçoğlu also provided information about the activities carried out by Amphenol Türkiye & Middle East, which was established in March 2004: “We founded our office 22 years ago in March 2004. We operate as a problem-solving focused R&D center, reporting directly to headquarters. We are not a profit-driven entity; rather, we function purely as a business development office for the group. Our entire team consists of engineers, and we are a team of nine people based in Ankara. Our region covers 13 countries. Most of our time is spent on design and marketing, strategic management, and determining which Amphenol factory can best serve our customers and which products best meet their project requirements. Globally, Amphenol operates with its factories, distributors, and subsidiaries in more than 40 countries, with 270 factories and approximately 200,000 employees, producing around 25 million components. Our goal is to develop the most optimal products from this portfolio, adapt them to designs, and deliver them to users. This year, representatives from 15 of our factories, 26 participants in total, are present at our event to conduct technical presentations and meetings. Throughout the two-day event, we will deliver presentations in a cross-session format during both morning and afternoon programs.”
Providing further details on Amphenol’s investments in Türkiye, Saraçoğlu added: “In 2023, we brought two factories to our country, Amphenol Canada (Military) and Amphenol Industrial (the main supplier of Togg), employing a total of 300 people. Compared to the factory in China, they achieved a 30% efficiency improvement. The performance achieved by 197 employees there has been matched here with just 139 personnel. I wanted to share this success of our Turkish engineers and workforce with you.”
