Calidus Aerospace, a member of the Emirates Defense Companies Council, has announced the signing of strategic collaboration agreements with Turkish defense giants ASELSAN and HAVELSAN during the first day of the SAHA EXPO 2024 in Istanbul.

These agreements, the first of their kind in the Middle East, aim to strengthen defense cooperation between the UAE and Türkiye in the field of advanced defense technologies. The signing ceremony was attended by H.E. Mohamed bin Fadhil Al Mazrouei, UAE Minister of State for Defense Affairs, Haluk Görgün Secretary of Defence Industries (SSB), and Mona Ahmed Al Jaber, Chairwoman of the Emirates Defense Companies Council (EDCC). The agreements were signed by Ahmet Akyol, President and CEO of ASELSAN, Mehmet Akif Nacar, CEO of HAVELSAN and H.E. Doctor Khalifa AlBlooshi, CEO of Calidus.
