Contract on the Engines to be Used in ATAK 2 Helicopters in Effect

November 10, 2021 - According to the information we obtained during the SAHA EXPO 2021 Defense and Aerospace Exhibition, the contract on the engines to be used in the T929 ATAK 2 Heavy Class Attack Helicopter has become effective. T0 started in the project upon the advance payment and the first engines to be used in the tests for the ATAK 2 are planned to be delivered in early 2022. Within the scope of the project covering fourteen TV-3117VMA-SBM1V turboshaft engines, the production of certain parts will take place in Turkey. The contract signed with TUSAŞ covers this option as well.
