Depth Measurement Sonars Aselsan Kulaç

Aselsan Kulaç is a military echosounder system for surface ships and submarines which is developed for by Aselsan. Echosounders (depth measurement sonars) are active sonars used for depth measurement with two oe more transducers. Echosounders measures the time differenece between emitting of the signal and reception of its echo.

Aselsan’s exprience in acoustic signal processing, military hardawre design and power amplifier hardware is utiilized int hte development of Aselsan Kulaç. Aselsan Kulaç can operate with a broad range of local and foregin transducers.

In the scope of  echosounders for 4 Ay Class submarines project with Gölcük Naval Shipyard, integration and acceptance of the first unit is completed successfully. Aselsan Kulaç is being proposed for the future Milgem-S, LPD and other naval projects as a local miltary echosounder system.
