Mustafa Murat Şeker Appointed as the Chairman of Aselsan

During the explanation made at the Aselsan public disclosure platform, it was decided that Mr. Mustafa Murat Şeker shall be elected as the Chairman of the Board of Directors, Mr. Murat Üçüncü shall be elected to be the Vice President and that Mr. Mustafa Murat Şeker and Murat Üçüncü shall be elected as Executive Directors at the meeting of the company dated March 31st.

Mr. Mustafa Murat Şeker born in Kayseri in 1968,  graduated from ODTÜ Electric Electronic Engineering in  1992, continued his masters degree studies in the same faculty between  1992 and 1994.

Şeker, starting to work at the Defense Industry Undersecretariat in 1992, served on various projects between 1992 and 2000 as Assistant Expert and Expert. Starting from 2000, he worked as the Project Manager responsible for the management of important projects in the fields of Helicopter and Plane Modernization, Communications, Radar, Electronic War and Satellites.

Mr. Şeker assigned as Head of Naval Platforms Department of SSM in 2011, executed comprehensive and big projects like New Type Submarine, ‘MILGEM’ corvette program, Landing Platform Dock (LPD) and the TF-2000 project.

Mr. Şeker serving as Supervisory Board member at MİKES A.Ş from 2010 to 2011 and at HEAŞ in 2012,  was chosen as a member of the Aselsan A.Ş. Board of Directors on May 2013; was also elected as a Board of Directors member of Aselsan A.Ş. with a Board of Directors decision at the Ordinary General Meeting held on March 31st, 2014.
