Atalay EFEER
He was born in Seferihisar, Izmir in 1947 and after he graduating from the Air Force War School in 1967 he completed his flight training in 1968 and joined the ranks of the Turkish Air Force as a pilot.
Efeer graduated from the Air Force War Academy as a staff officer in 1981 and he was promoted to the rank of Brigadier General in 1994, Major General in 1998 and Lieutenant General on August 30, 2002.
Efeer has worked as a tactical hunting pilot, column flying pilot in Turkish Acroryhtm, operation officer, fleet commander, lecturer in the Air Force War Academy, chair of Base Control Committee, commander of base operations, base commander, department head in command control at the General Staff, head of operation at the Air Force Command and deputy commander at the 1st Air Force in combat units and in headquarters.
Efeer was trained as a flight instructor in the U.S.A., he graduated from the NATO Defence College in Rome and was trained in management at Maryland University while working at the NATO AIRSOUTH headquarters.
Efeer, who was promoted to lieutenant general on August 30, 2002, was appointed as Deputy Commander of NATO Southern Region (CINSOUTH), commander of 1st Air Force and 6th BHHM.
Lieutenant general Efeer, who retired on August 30, 2006, flew more than 4500 times with various aircrafts that are in the inventory of the Air Force, and he was awarded Outstanding Courage and Sacrifice Medal and he was awarded the NATO Operation medal three times. Ret. Lieut. General Efeer is married and he has one child. He speaks English.

Engin ALAN
Lieutenant general Engin Alan was born in Istanbul in 1945. He graduated from the Army War School as a second lieutenant infantryman and worked in different infantry units of Army War Academy and General Staff Special Forces Command.
He took part in the Cyprus Peace Operation of 1974.
He graduated from the Army War Academy in 1978. He has worked as a Plan Officer at the General Staff Special forces Headquarters, Army attaché in Moscow, Head of Staff for the commando brigade, Training and Education Group Commander for the General Staff Special Forces, Commander of the 5th Commando Legion and Head of General Staff for the 2nd Army Corps.
He was promoted to Brigadier General in 1992 and he worked as the Commander of the 16th Armoured Brigade and Armed Forces attaché in Baku.
He was promoted to Major General in 1996 and he worked the Special Forces Commander of the General Staff for 4 years.
He was promoted to Lieutenant General in 2000. He worked as the commander of the 8th Army Corps between 2000 and 2002, as the commander of the 2nd Army Corps between 2002 and 2004, and as a Logistical Commander between 2004 and 2005. He was referred for retirement following the decisions of the High Military Council in 2005.
Lieutenant Engin Alan, who is the owner of Turkish Armed Forces (TAF) outstanding courage and sacrifice medal, and two TAF success medal, is married with two children. He speaks Russian and English.

Erdoğan KARAKUŞ
Erdoğan Karakuş was born in Fethiye in 1945. After finishing primary school and junior high school, he went to the Air Force Military High School. He graduated from the Air Force War School in 1962 and from the Flight School in 1959 and he worked as a jet pilot in units. In 1971 He graduated from the Management/Accounting department of Eskişehir Anadolu University in which he started studying in 1967. He entered Air Force War academy in 1974 and he graduated as a staff officer in 1976. After working in various air force units he finished his PhD in history at Marmara University. In the 1984-1985 academic year he finished studying at the Air Force War Academy which is the highest education institution in the U.S. He passed his comprehensive exams for PhD in 1998 and completed his dissertation in 1999. He was appointed to the Air Force base as a raider operation commander.
He was promoted to brigadier general in 1991 and he became a raider base commander in the Air Force. After working as a base commander until 1993, he was appointed as the head of the Planning
Operations Department at the Air Force. He served as a commander in Poised Hammer while he worked there. He was promoted to Major General in 1996.
He worked as the chair in the chairmanship of Air Force Inspection. He became deputy Commander of Air Force Logistics. He worked as a Senior Military Attaché in England between 1998-1999. He became the Head of MEBS in the Air Force in 1998. He was promoted to Lieutenant General in 2001 and was appointed to the Air Force Logistical Command. He worked as ATAŞE chair in 2003 and at the same time, as the Chair of General Staff Inspection and Evaluation. He worked as the head of THK.
He is married with 2 children and 3 grandchildren. He speaks English.

Hayrettin UZUN
Hayrettin Uzun was born in Erzurum in 1948. He graduated from the Army War School in 1967 and from Artilleryman and Rocket School. He studied English at the Turkish-American Language School in Izmir. He graduated from the army War Academy in 1977 and from the U.S. Command General Staff College in Kansas, U.S. He graduated from the Armed Forces Academy
He served in the Battery Command of the army, Army Corps Command, Detachment Command; he worked as a lecturer in the Army War Academy and Artilleryman School. He served as the Project Officer, Head of department and Chair in NATO for a total of 7 years. He worked as controller at the NATO Correspondence and Information Systems Agency (NACOSA), which has the second biggest budget in NATO and in which 1000 personnel works out of which two have the rank of general. Later on he worked as the chief deputy of the Secretary General of the National Security Council and Deputy Commander of Army Education and Doctrine. He retired from the rank of lieutenant general on August 30, 2005 due to a lack of positions.
Hayrettin UZUN participated in various courses and seminars in NATO and in our country, he presented communiqués and gave main speeches. He studied "company restructuring" and he worked in restructuring of NACOSA.
Hayrettin UZUN has lots of national and NATO medals, stripe badges and appreciation documents.

Ahmet ÖZTEKER
He was born in Niksar-Tokat in 1942. He graduated from the Army War School in 1962 and from the Artilleryman and Rocket School in 1963 and he started working in detachment duty as an artillery lieutenant.
He served as a team commander and battery commander in various units of the Army until 1972.
He passed the Army War Academy exams and Ret. Lieut. Gen. Ahmet Özteker, who started his education in 1972 and at the rank of captain, graduated from the army War Academy in 1974 as a staff officer.
Between 1975-1991 Ret. Lieut. Gen. Ahmet Özteker worked as a lecturer at the Army War Academy, as a project officer at the NATO AFSOUTH headquarters which is in Naples, Italy, as a department head in the Chairmanship of Personnel at the General Staff, as a lecturer at the Army War School and as a head of general staff. He worked as a colonel between 1988 and1991. He served as Border Legion Commander and Head of 3rd Army Operations.
Ret. Lieut. Gen. Ahmet Özteker, worked in the following positions from1991 in which
he was promoted to Brigadier General until August 30, 2004:
- As a Brigadier General: Head of the Department of Disarmament and International Security at the General Staff and Armored Brigade Commander,
- As a Major General: Head of Personnel of the Army, Commander of Artilleryman
and Rocket School.
- As a Lieutenant General: Head of Personnel at the General staff, Commander of Cyprus Turkish Peace Forces, Commander of Education and Doctrine (EDOK).
He retired from the Turkish Armed Forces on August 30, 2004 due to a lack of positions.

Saban Recai ÖZTÜRK
He was born in Istanbul in 1948. He graduated from the army War School as an engineer officer in 1967 and he completed his studies at the Army War Academy in 1978.
He worked as the NATO
Headquarters Officer in Naples between 1984 and 1987. He was promoted to Brigadier General in 1994. He worked as the Armed Forces Attaché in Bonn, Germany between 1994 and 1996.
He served as the Commander of the 3rd Armored Brigade between 1996 and 1998. He was promoted to Major General in 1998. He worked as the Head of Army Plans and Principles between 1998 and 2001, as the Commander of Military Engineering School and Education Center between 2001 and 2002. Öztürk was promoted to Lieutenant General in 2002. He served the Turkish Army as the Commander of the 9th Army Corps between 2002 and 2004 and as the NATO Army Element Deputy Commander between 2004 and 2006. He currently works as the chair of the Board of Directors at Roketsan Company.
