Torpedo Countermeasure System for Surface Ships Aselsan Hızır

Aselsan has indigenously developed and produced a modern “Torpedo Countermeasure System for Surface Ships”. The system named “Hızır” saves the ships from the most important threat at war time : Torpedo. 

The system was designed to meet Milgem (National Ship) requirements and can also be used on corvettes and bigger size naval platforms. The system was tested against all environmental conditions that such ship classes are capable to stand during their operations. Besides, system can detect the torpedo much faster than similar systems under severe environmental conditions. 

Aselsan has procured and produced all necessary production infrastructure and test assets in parallel with the “Hızır” project plan. The system is now ready to be deployed for active duty including several tests and sea trials.
