Projects And Activities
Robas is a remotely controlled unmanned ground vehicle which can perform 3D mapping under harsh environmental conditions. Using its thermal camera, it can operate at night besides day time operation. ROBAS is designed to fulfill military based surveillance missions in regions where the use of troops is dangerous.
Bomb Disposal Robot is designed for Suspicious package investigation, Route cleaning, Bomb disposal, EOD scanning and disposal.
National Auv is a compact, low cost and state-of-the-art underwater vehicle for mine hunting, rescue missions and underwater research.
Barbaros Auv is designed and built to increase the survivability of the military ships and the submarines. Barbaros will help to detect and neutralize the hostile naval mines and remote detection of torpedo mines for harbor and shallow water security.
Canakkale Single Shot Rov (SSR) is a remotely operated and disposable underwater vehicle that can replace the human role in mine countermeasure operations. SSR will reduce the required time in mine countermeasure mission when compared to existing ROVs and divers.
Gelibolu Work Class Rov is an open-framed work class ROV specifically designed for deep sea rescue operations at 1000 msw depth rate. OSPEM (1 kW PEM Fuel Cell) is the first Fuel Cell produced in Turkey. 1 kW PEM (Proton Exchange Membrane) Fuel Cell system and clean source of power. Designed to be used in autonomous robotic systems for long endurance. Silent and modular system and easy storage and replace ability of fuel in small cartridges and low emission rate.
DMFC (25 W Direct Methanol Fuel Cell) is an ongoing project. Development of a small-sized and self-activated direct methanol fuel cell (DMFC) for low-power portable applications. Methanol is used as the fuel. Low operation temperature, fast start-up time and simplicity
RMFC (25 W Reformed Methanol Fuel Cell) is an ongoing project. Reformer is used to generate hydrogen from a concentrated methanol solution. By running on hydrogen rather than directly on methanol, as is done in DMFC, the fuel stack can be smaller and more efficient. Higher efficiency, no water management, better operation at low temperatures, and storage at sub-zero temperatures (methanol is a liquid from -97.0°C to 64.7°C.)
SBHFC (250 W Sodium Borohydride Fuel Cell), Hydrogen is generated in a controllable, heat-releasing reaction and fuel is a room-temperature, non-flammable liquid under no pressure. No side reactions or volatile by-products. Generated H2 is high purity (no CO, S) and humidified (heat generates some water vapour). Safe, efficient and near-silent operation.
