Held under the patronage of President Abdel Fattah El-SISI, President of the Arab Republic of Egypt and Supreme Commander of the Egyptian Armed Forces, the fourth edition of the Egypt Defense Expo (EDEX 2025) took place December 1-5, 2025 at the Al-Manara International Conference Center and the Egypt International Exhibition Center (EIEC) in New Cairo. On Monday, December 1, 2025, Abdel Fattah El-SISI, President of the Arab Republic of Egypt and Supreme Commander of the Egyptian Armed Forces, inaugurated the Egypt Defense Expo (EDEX 2025). The inauguration ceremony also witnessed the participation of Prime Minister Dr. Mostafa MADBOULY, Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces and Minister of Defense and Military Production Abdel Mageed SAQR, as well as several ministers and senior state officials.

EDEX 2025 brought together some 450 global defense companies, including 25 national pavilions, official delegations from over 100 countries, and more than 40,000 specialized visitors. According to the Egyptian Presidency, this level of international participation reflects global confidence in Egypt’s organizational capabilities, regional influence, and growing attractiveness as a hub for defense and tourism investment.
